Our Mission

At Ka Mana O Ka Hula, we are dedicated to preserving and perpetuating the cultural traditions of Hawaiʻi through hula, storytelling, and ʻike—educating and inspiring the next generation with authenticity and aloha.

E mālama i ka moʻomeheu — to care for and preserve the culture — is at the heart of everything we do, guiding our commitment to honoring the traditions passed down through generations.

Establish an Authentic Hālau (School)

We are building a space where students of all backgrounds can immerse themselves in Polynesian culture, learning not just the steps of hula, but the language, history, and values that make it sacred.

Educate Through Cultural Workshops

Beyond our classes, we offer workshops in lei-making, hula workshops with Kumu Kau'i Dalire-Boyd, implement making, and other cultural arts that deepen the understanding of our traditions.

Share the Aloha Spirit Through Performance

We bring the beauty of Polynesian culture to our community through engaging, interactive performances that invite audiences to experience the joy of hula with authenticity and respect.

Build a Supportive and Inclusive Community

As a collective of women from the Hawaiian Islands, we strive to create a welcoming ʻohana (family) where dancers and students feel empowered, connected, and part of something bigger than themselves.
